New in the Library

Stop chasing files.

The content you need is already on other people's phones. Give clients, staff and customers one no-login link or QR code. What they send lands in your Sked Social Library with their consent on record.

How it works

Share a link. Get the files.

People open it in a browser and send photos, video, PDFs and written answers. Use File Drop for plain uploads, or Guided to ask up to 10 prompts and let people record video on the page. Everything lands in the one Library collection you chose.

One link replaces the email thread.

Agencies lose days to the email thread that asks for this week's photos. Send each client one link instead. They upload from their phone without logging in, and the files sit in the Library ready for Create post. Posts go out on the day you planned, not the day the photos turn up.

  • Clients upload without a Sked Social account
  • Files go straight to the collection you picked
  • Your instructions sit right on the upload page

Real content from the people closest to the brand.

Staff on the floor and customers at the counter send what they shoot, and head office sees every location's content in one place.

  • A link or QR code for each location

Give each store, venue or campaign its own collect, so you always know where a file came from.

  • Print it on a poster or counter card

Put the QR code where your people already are: the staff room, the counter, the event entrance.

  • Limit what a link accepts

Take photos, video or PDFs, or just the file types you need.

  • Point every link at one collection

Every location's files can land in the same Library collection, ready to filter and use.

Know who agreed to what.

Each file arrives with the consent text, the uses the sender allowed and any rights expiry you set, recorded on the asset in your Library. Ask for a name and email on a link, or let people send without one. Sked Social keeps the record. You stay in charge of honouring it.

  • Ask for a name and email, or not
  • Consent text and agreed uses saved with the asset
  • An optional rights expiry date
  • Filter the Library to show only collected files

For anyone who waits on other people's photos.

  • Agency account lead

    Today
Every client sends assets a different way: email attachments, a shared drive, a chat thread. You spend the week asking for photos, and posts slip when they turn up late.
    What changes
Each client gets one link. They upload from their phone, the files land in that client's Library collection and you get notified, so the calendar holds.
  • Marketing lead at a multi-location or franchise brand

    Today
Your best content is shot by staff at each location, then lost in camera rolls and group chats before head office ever sees it.
    What changes
Every location gets its own link or QR code. Everything comes back to your Library, where one filter shows every collected file.
  • In-house brand manager

    Today
You want real photos from staff and customers, but collecting them means DMs, forwarded emails and no record of who said you could use what.
    What changes
One link goes to staff and customers. Require a name and email on it, and each file arrives with the sender and their consent recorded on the asset.
  • Events or campaign team

    Today
A launch, a festival or a store opening produces a burst of content, and by the next morning it is scattered across attendees' phones.
    What changes
A QR code on the poster collects it during the event. Set the link to expire when the doors close, or close it yourself the next morning.

Control every link after you share it.

Every collect has its own settings, and you can change them at any time, even after the link is out in the world.

  • Links expire after 30 days by default, or never
  • Cap how many submissions a link takes
  • Pause, close and reopen a link
  • Rotate the link so the old one stops taking files
  • Choose who is notified when files arrive
  • Export a CSV of submissions or a zip of every file

Common questions

Questions about Content Collector.

  • Does the person sending files need a Sked Social account?

No. They open your link or scan the QR code, and the upload page opens in their browser on collab.skedsocial.com. There is no app to install and no login.

  • What can contributors send, and can they record video in the browser?

Photos (including HEIC from iPhones), video and PDFs. In Guided mode you can ask up to 10 prompts, including written answers and video. Where the browser supports it, contributors record a video prompt right on the page. Where it does not, they upload a video file instead.

  • Can I close or rotate a link, and when does it expire?

Links expire after 30 days by default, and you can change the date or set a link to never expire. You can pause a link, close it, reopen it, or cap how many submissions it takes. Rotating gives you a new link and QR code, and the old ones stop taking files.
