Asana

Beta

Your Asana tasks are already content ideas.

Connect Asana and the tasks in the projects you choose arrive in Sked as ideas, tags and due dates intact. The files attached to them land in your media library.

Read-only, scoped, and always current.

Hourly

task sync

Selected Asana projects, read-only.

Read-only

scoped access

Sked never creates, edits or completes a task.

Ideas + Library

two surfaces

Tasks become ideas; their files become media.

The content calendar starts in Asana.

Your team briefs campaigns as Asana tasks, then someone retypes them into a scheduler. Sked reads the projects you pick, turns each task into an idea with its notes, tags and due date, and keeps them in step as the task moves.

  • Every task arrives as a Sked idea, ready to schedule
  • Name, notes, tags, status and dates come along
  • You pick exactly what Sked watches

Your project plan is already half a content plan.

Files uploaded to those tasks sync into Sked's media library. Attachments that are just links to other storage tools stay where they are.

  • Sked only reads the projects you choose.
  • Read-only by design: nothing is created, edited or deleted
  • Both surfaces refresh on the hour

The whole task travels, not just its name.

Each Asana task arrives as an idea carrying its description, tags as Sked labels, status, due date, author and a link straight back to the task. Whoever picks it up has the full brief and one click to the source. Re-syncs never duplicate an idea.

  • Tags arrive as Sked labels
  • Status, due date and author come across
  • One click back to the Asana task

Where Asana teams point the connection.

You choose the projects Sked reads. Everything else in your Asana stays private, and nothing is ever written back.

  • The campaign project

Briefs drafted as tasks land on the board with their due dates already attached.

  • The client request queue

Agencies read each client's intake project, so requests arrive labelled by client.

  • The asset drop

Files uploaded to tasks flow into Sked's library, ready to attach to a post.

Ideas from every tool your team plans in.

Asana is one source. Notion databases, Trello boards, Google Sheets and RSS feeds fill the same board.

Common questions

Questions about Asana integration.

  • What syncs from Asana?

Tasks in the projects you select become Sked ideas, carrying their name, notes, tags, status, due date and assignee. Files uploaded directly to those tasks sync into your media library. Attachments that are only links to other storage tools are skipped.

  • Does Sked change anything in my Asana workspace?

No. The connection is read-only and scoped to the projects you pick. Sked never creates, edits, completes or deletes an Asana task.

  • How often does Asana sync, and can I choose the projects?

You choose the projects when you connect. Sked checks them every hour and keeps the imported ideas current as the tasks change.

  • What comes across with each Asana task?

The task's name, description, tags (as Sked labels), status, due date, author and a link back to the task in Asana. Uploaded attachments on tasks in your selected projects flow into Sked's media library.

  • Which Asana projects does Sked read?

Only the projects you select when connecting. Everything else in your workspace stays untouched, and the connection never writes back to Asana.

  • Will re-syncing duplicate my ideas?

No. Each task is tracked by its Asana ID, so repeat syncs never create a duplicate idea.

  • Do Asana tasks publish automatically?

No. Tasks arrive as ideas for your team to shape into posts. Nothing publishes without you.
