What the planner checks
- Up to 20 slides
- Instagram carousels hold up to 20 images. The planner flags anything past slide 20, because it will not post.
- The first slide sets the shape
- Instagram shows every slide at the shape of slide 1. If your slides mix portrait, square and landscape, the planner tells you which ones will be cropped.
- Your cover is cropped twice
- The feed and your profile grid each crop your cover to a different shape. The planner shows both crops on slide 1 so your headline survives.
