As Head of Growth at Sked Social, Gabby Torres-Soler is at the heart of where creativity meets data. She’s the kind of marketer who can talk brand tone, AI workflows, and TikTok trends in one breath — all while keeping it real (and a little chaotic).

1. What would your MySpace song be in 2025?
DtmF (Debí Tirar Mas Fotos - Bad Bunny)

2. Instagram or TikTok? Defend your answer.
TikTok - there's a rawness on TikTok that you simply don't get on Instagram! You are actually allowed to be yourself. Crashing out while eating mac and cheese in your sweatpants? Sign me up! That's the authentic content I love.

3. What's in your camera roll way too much?
Photos of my niece (she is 8 months old!)

4. A tool, app, or sneaky little shortcut you swear by?
Creating a custom ChatGPT bot with your brands TOV and personality. It's a game changer when creating content!

5. Most underrated social media skill?
Video editing. Honestly, it takes soooo long and getting the clips *just right* is such a crucial skill. I'm always so impressed by some of the video content social media managers create.

6. If you could ban one trend forever, what would it be?
Beauty and skincare influencers! Mainly because my bank account cannot take it anymore!

7. Who are 3 brands/creators you’re vibing with right now?
1. Granny Spills on TikTok/IG is hilarious (I'm pretty sure she's an AI creator though); 2. Drew Afualo on tiktok - she is a feminist that loves roasting men on TikTok. She's my hero. 3. @peoplebrandsandthings on IG is a meme style profile that all about things brand marketing. it's the place that helps me stay on trend!

8. Go-to comfort food after a chaotic day?
movie theatre style popcorn and some burger dill pickles #girldinner

9. Best DM you’ve ever received (or sent)?
So cringe! But my husband and I were travelling across the UK and made a one-day stop to Blacbkpool. We are both huge Gogglebox UK fans, so we messaged my favourite Gogglebox UK cast member -- who happens to live in Blackpool -- to see if by chance they would want to grab a beer at Weatherspoons. Of course, we did not hear back, but it was worth a shot!

10. What’s your biggest ick on LinkedIn right now?
'comment [INSERT word] and connect with me!' - if you want to be helpful, just share the content, don't make people comment AND connect! It diminishes the value of connections.

Q&A with Emma-Jaye Zappacosta

May 15, 2026

Emma-Jaye Zappacosta has spent more than a decade working in social media, and her perspective cuts through a lot of the noise currently flooding the industry. In this Q&A, she talks about why brands need to stop treating posting as the finish line, how comment sections have become one of the most important growth levers in social, and why the strongest content strategies are built on distinctiveness — not trend-chasing. It’s thoughtful, sharp, and full of the kind of insights that only come from someone who’s actually done the work.

Q&A with Camille Safadi

May 8, 2026

There’s a lot of content being made right now. Most of it looks the same. Same formats. Same ideas. Same AI-assisted variations of what’s already worked for someone else. Camille Safadi’s approach is a bit different. Find what resonates, double down on it, and evolve it instead of starting from scratch. Because when something already works, the smartest move isn’t to replace it. It’s to build on it. Simple. But most brands still get it wrong.
