Kriti Gupta is one of those rare marketing minds who can move between culture and strategy without missing a beat. A creative and communications all-rounder, she’s built a career on blending sharp storytelling with an instinct for what actually lands online. Whether she’s interviewing cast members from The Summer I Turned Pretty or dissecting the next CPG trend, Kriti brings a mix of honesty, edge, and humor that feels refreshingly human in an industry full of polish.

1. What would your MySpace song be in 2025?
B2b featuring Tinashe by Charli xcx. Very important between the original version from 'brat' and this version from 'brat and it's completely different but also still brat'. Firstly 'brat summer' will never die, it's like holiday music, it comes back every year and secondly, this song is the embodiment of my work hard, play harder mentality.

2. Instagram or TikTok? Defend your answer.
If you had asked me three years ago I would have said TikTok due to the reach and discovery but the thing is the community element that now exists on Instagram is unparalleled. And having a village is everything.

3. What’s in your camera roll way too much?
Videos of me doing my own carpool karaoke.

4. A tool, app, or sneaky little shortcut you swear by?
Voice to text, literally voice to texting everything. It helps get your thoughts out as they are and as fast as they are.

5. Most underrated social media skill?
Switching off LOL.

6. If you could ban one trend forever, what would it be?
Those overlay of celeb five second soundbite memes on B-Roll. Hate them with a passion.

7. Who are 3 brands/creators you’re vibing with right now?
Sarah Bahbah, a Palestinian/Jordanian creative from Australia but now in LA. I wish I had even an ounce of the level of honesty and captivating mind that she has.
Ette Media, enough said, no notes.
SnaxShot. I've been following Andrea's work and knowledge in the CPG space since around 2021 and her future-thinking is paramount for all industries.

8. Go-to comfort food after a chaotic day?
A jar of pickled banana peppers, they're ridiculously hard to get in large quantities in Australia.

9. Best DM you’ve ever received (or sent)?
My short-term memory is struggling with this so I'm going to go with a recent one... "We've got an opportunity for you to interview 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' cast."

10. What’s your biggest ick on LinkedIn right now?
Controversially my biggest ick is probably the meta-ness that exists in the subversive content. I love LinkedIn, I love the platform that it gives to shout about your work. Yea it's ridiculous to turn your proposal photo into a B2B sales post, I back making fun of those people, but contrastingly it's such a reflection of the dying state of humanity to make fun of people who are just excited about their career.
